So, you are a masterpiece– that’s a fact. But, what does this mean for you? Does it mean that you always have to be “on” or that your brand has to convey perfection? Absolutely not.

Masterpieces of the World
You may be wondering, what really makes something a masterpiece? The technical answer is outstanding artistry or skill, but we think it has more to do with the feeling that a masterpiece evokes. It could be a painting, a piece of architecture, or something else entirely. Check out some of the world’s most recognized masterpieces below–how do they make you feel?
- Taj Mahal – An architectural masterpiece, the Taj Mahal is one of the most impressive examples of Mughal architecture. The white marble monument was finished in 1653 in the city of Agra.
- Sistine Chapel Ceiling– The ceiling was painted by Michelangelo and other Italian artists between 1508 and 1512. It’s one of the most renowned works of art from the High Renaissance period and–get this– Michelangelo was reluctant to take the job because he considered himself a sculptor and not a painter.
- La Sagrada Familia– Construction on this impressive structure began in 1882 and is still famously unfinished, but expected to be done by 2026. It’s a combination of several different architectural styles: Art Nouveau, Gothic Revival, and Spanish Gothic.
- Starry Night– This painting might be the most known work of Dutch Post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh. But, did you know that Starry Night depicts the view from his room in an asylum in southern France?
- Mona Lisa – Perhaps the most famous painting in the world, the Mona Lisa is a smaller-than-expected portrait painting by Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci. It’s considered a masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance and currently hangs in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.
