The past few weeks have been harrowing to say the least. People are grieving, afraid, worried, anxious — and for good reason.

The world’s problems are on full display. So what’s a VO talent like you to do?

The answer is simple, really: Be a helper in action, not just in words.

I am committed to helping, showing up, and being transparent in how I do it. This is how I’m taking action this weekend:

First, I’m here to help bring the VO community together by inviting any VO actor to join me at my free Brand Mingle sessions, happening every Friday @ 10 am CT via Zoom.

We have each other. We can all learn new skills, new traits, and new lessons from one another. We can talk about more than our voiceover brand — but about life and how we can come together as friends, neighbors, and community to continue to educate and help one another.

You can register for my next Brand Mingle here.

Additionally, my “Finding Your Brand Spark” workshop is happening this Saturday, June 6th from 10am – 1pm CT, and we still have a few spots left. I am committed to donating half of the profits from my class to Black-led Minneapolis-based organizations in need of financial support to rebuild local businesses and keep communities fed. I will continue to ask myself: How can I be of service? What problems can I solve for people? These are questions we can not only ask ourselves about our voiceover brands, but as people living our everyday lives too. The way we help people extends beyond the voiceover industry. Not temporarily; for the long haul.

Sending so much love,

Celia
